In celebration of Hispanic heritage month Instituto participated in La Mesa Latina luncheon presented by BUILD Chicago!

La Mesa Latina is a unique event that brings together Chicago’s accomplish Latinx leaders to share their stories with promising Latinx youth.

Here the students give beautiful testimony about their time here and the experiences that shaped who they are. They are then pinned by those in attendance in celebration. Congratulations to all the 2023 graduates!

Over 250 families and community members were in attendance where they were able to access a variety of free services and goods from Immigration Legal aid to employment opportunities, a free health Clinic, and even free household toiletries and goods.

This free event will be your one-stop-shop for any services you may need including a Free Health Clinic from UI Health , legal aid, employment opportunities, Public Benefits applications, and even FREE Household toiletries and goods.

We are offering free after school programs for youth between 2nd and 8th grade in Little Village and Pilsen.

Chicago has seen over 8,000 asylum-seekers enter the city since last summer and about 450 of those people are using police stations as shelters. Title 42 is expected to be lifted on May 11, which may result in even more buses as all of the city's respire centers reach capacity.
