Instituto hosted a volunteer event that brought together high school students from Francis Parker and IDPL Citizenship adult learners.
The session featured activities designed to foster language exchange and mutual learning. Participants engaged in meaningful conversations and interactive exercises covering reading, writing, and civics.
The event was a tremendous success, with both groups expressing enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to connect and learn from one another. A standout moment was witnessing the genuine interactions and teamwork, beautifully captured in the attached photos, where students are actively engaged together.
This partnership highlights the power of intergenerational and cross-cultural collaboration, and we look forward to creating more opportunities to build these meaningful connections.
